So - a little about what makes me tick - and how I got here...

Picked up a camera some 20 years ago when you had to load this funny stuff called "film". Got hooked, photographed everything from Cheetah in Kenya (amazing, life changeing) to Formula 1 (rubbish, just got the back end of the cars) some fine art nude portfolio's (I was way more nervous than they were!) and then weddings (think 4 weddings and a funeral and that just about sums up the first few - blind panic!) and onto families having fun.

Then I thought - I wonder if I could charge for this?....

Me I guess...

And indeed I did - embarked on a career as a professional photographer and totally loved it. For about 7 years or more.

Then it became less fun. Recession, chaging attitudes in the industry and the passion for creating images ebbed into the need to create money - bad move, didn't work for me at all.

Fast forward to 2009 and I decided to go back to doing this for fun! - so no, my income is not derrived from photography and yes, that does mean I can "charge" for my time when I choose too. And that makes ALL the difference - it's like stepping back in time - creativity, passion, fun. All back...
